Our nation was not founded on Christian principles. If it had been, the First Amendment, for example, would not be a part of our law, since freedom of speech and religion are antithetical to the doctrines of the Bible. Every advance of western society since the establishment of Christianity as the majority religion has been in opposition to that faith.
